   We always have a great time at Mediterannea: Excellent food (can't get enough of the involtini), friendly and efficient service, delightful atmosphere, and amazingly low prices.

   So happy to have found this gem. The neighborhood is in transition and was a little off putting at first but the venue and food was amazing. As a celiac, it was great to have everything on the menu available to me and not to have to worry about cross contamination in the kitchen. Delicious!!!

   Mediterranea is my new favorite restaurant in Atlanta. I had a friend in town who has Celiac and decided to try them out because they were certified gluten free, and wanted to be sure she didn’t have to worry about dinner. Everything was wonderful. If I hadn’t known everything was gluten free in advance, I wouldn’t have believed it. Our server was lovely, and gave wonderful recommendations. I’ll be back often.

   I really wanted to love this place, the reviews were promising, but our experience was mediocre at best. The Highlight of the experience is the rooftop dining. You must sit on the rooftop, it's where everything is happening! However, the food was underwhelming. Our server highly recommended the Baked Feta, it was nothing more than marinara sauce with feta on top, nothing special. The worst part of the dish was the bread to use for dipping had zero flavor and texture just wasn't right. I would not recommend the Bake Feta nor the Mediterranean Dips spread for the same reason- the bread is underwhelming. Our main dish of the beef kabob was the highlight- would order again! Lastly, the service was very slow & forgetful. It was a Friday night & tables were full, they just seems to have forgotten our table entirely. We'll have to come back and try different menu options.
