Independent and family-run, we opened Mele e Pere in the heart of Soho in February 2012.

We are three brothers and a friend who set out on a journey to create a genuine neighbourhood Trattoria reminiscent of the fabulous family-run places of northern Italy, where we all grew up.

You should feel just as comfortable popping in for a glass of home-made vermouth and some sharing plates at the bar as you should taking your time to work through the menu in the dining room.

We cook our seasonal and daily-changing menu with British produce and exceptional Italian ingredients. All of our Pasta, Pizza, desserts and Gelato are made in our kitchen fresh every day. We have London’s largest selection of Vermouths behind our bar and our exclusively Italian wine list has loads of options for you available by the glass.

                                                              Great Italian restaurant in the midst of the theatre area. Very easy to book and check menus available. Was a brilliant find and can’t say how superb everything was. We had a great table and didn’t feel closed in and had a lovely waitress who looked after us very well. The meals we had were so tasty and we didn’t have long to wait to be served. All in all a great place to dine in

                                                              Very friendly and helpful service. Food was very good but fish served appeared to be from frozen rather than fresh. Not too bad price-wise but we were on a set course deal. Overall very friendly and good quality ambiance. A place we've visited before and would return.

                                                              Great food, great value for money and excellent service. We went after the matinée at the Gielgud Theatre and had a superb meal. Friendly and lovely atmosphere.. would definitely return. Highly recommend.

                                                              Very lovely restaurant in soho. The staff were really attentive - we had to ask for a table upstairs as one of our party has mobility issues and there is quite a long staircase to the seating area downstairs but they quickly made space for us and were very friendly throughout our visit. Prices were very reasonable and the food was tasty - I had Buratta, then pizza (delicious crust) followed by Affogato but the Tiramisu also looked very good! Would definitely eat here again, our reservation was 5pm for a play at 7 and we had plenty of time.
