   Small space. Noisy. Prompt service and SIMPLY OUTSTANDING when it came to the drinks, food and dessert. Every dish we tried was excellent and some even creative and exceptional. Can't wait to go back and try all the other dishes on the menu.

   The words hidden gem could not be more accurate here. The food is amazing especially if you love a little spice and a lot of creativity. The ambience was great, the music, and service was even better. We’ll definitely be back to try all the other dishes.

   Really tasty food, quite varied snd nicely spiced small plates. We came for the cocktails, but at least tonight, the food was the standout. The kale salad was unusual and quite wonderful. A dish with hot fish sauce poured over raw salmon was great, as were two specials we tried: duck poutines and a crudo made with amberjack, like, mint and other flavors. Mussels in red curry were good, too. The two of us arrived hungry, and after these five dishes, left feeling quite full. The food is prepared very quickly, so we ordered one or at most two at a time.    Drinks and fantastic early dinner on Wed evening. The first visit for two couples. We shared everything. Kale salad, hotdog with sausage, nachos, poutine. Attentive and knowledgeable wait staff. Can't wait to return.

   Merai is my new favorite restuarant along with their other restaurant Mahaniyom! Amazing creative thai dishes that are perfect with the cocktails. Excellent service with lovely staff. Congrats on the James Beard!

    It was a great bar with a quirky bathroom, similar to parent restobar Mahaniyoum. I liked my drink and so did my friends, their cocktails are fun and decently priced for the Brookline area. I did think the taro fries were also super yummy, and bar staff was friendly. Will come back to try more of the food menu. I do wish they had a more expanded mocktail menu, but aside from that, a really fun experience for a small group or a more intimate date night.
