Mercato BYOB is a festive and modern Italian eatery that lets you bring your own drinks. A simple and to the point menu focuses on quality over quantity and features items like ricotta raviolo and a spicy crab bucatini with squid ink pasta.

The artisan cheeses and house-cured meats at Mercato BYOB are perfect for sharing and are paired with sauces and condiments like agrodolce and pickled white grapes. A whole grilled artichoke appetizer will undoubtedly turn you into the vegetable's biggest fan. Heavier dishes, like the Grilled Hanger Steak with yukon gold potato wedge, are equally impressive. Mercato BYOB opens at 4 p.m. The restaurant has a four course tasting menu that is ideal for groups. Conveniently located to all the theatres, shopping and convention center.                                                   We went to Mercato for dinner last night. It was fantastic! We started with the grilled artichoke appetizer and grilled Caesar salad. Both were super tasty and seasoned to perfection. For our entrées, we ordered the pyramid pasta and the braised short rib ravioli. Both dishes were outstanding. We finished the evening with a delicious homemade tiramisu. Our server was fantastic. He was very accommodating and did not rush us. We cannot wait to return!

                                                  We always love the food and service. We had the meatball appetizer, beat salad, pyramid pasta and short ribs ravioli. Delicious as always! Ryan is always great.

                                                  Beginning to end, our experience was perfect. They held our table while we were late due to holiday traffic, and made sure to ask the time of our show so we could get out in time - amazing! We started with the mussels and meatballs. The meatballs were stuffed with cheese, the density was spot on and cooked perfectly, the amount of sauce was just enough, not too much. The sausage in the mussels was spicy without being too hot, and the broth was meant for bread dipping. Entrees were lobster pyramid pasta and chicken parmesan. Both were cooked spot on, and the pasta was amazing! I would love an entire bowl of it! The service was attentive without hovering, and anticipated our every need. Everyone was professional and personable even with a full house. It had been awhile since we had been here, and this visit reminded us what we’ve been missing.

                                                  A small but creative menu, nicely prepared and presented. This is a tiny restaurant and as such, tables are close. The menu is very moderately priced.

                                                  We had the Icelandic Cod special and the Chicken Parm....both were very, very good. I especially liked the Cod and would go back quickly to get some more it was that good. The restaurant is very small and the tables are so close together that it is difficult to hold a conversation. The noise level was very high even though there are sound absorbing panels in the ceiling. We would go back during the week when it isn't so crowded. Great food and service though.

                                                  Always a fantastic meal at Mercato! Be sure to try the PEI Mussels appetizer. Their homemade rigatoni is perfection. Highly recommend!

                                                  Perfect for four of us from different spots in the country to get together and catch up for an evening. Great food, great service. Great location too! As two of our party were arriving, one said to the other, “Ooh. I wish that’s where we were going. It’s adorable.” Then they realized it was where they were going! Mercato was a great find for us!

                                                  We had two entrees, the autumn gnocchi and the chicken parmigiana. The red sauce for the chicken fish did not have a pleasing flavor and the gnocchi had garlic flavor that was too strong. The asparagus was just okay. The restaurant is quite noisy with tables packed close together. Service was good and pleasant.
