Loved the food and the decor in this place. I know V day is amateur hour and sometimes can be overwhelming for staff but I feel like the staff was very green. They meant well and were always concerned but they made their frustrations and nervousness too obvious in the dining area. A couple of good wait staff could help that place kill it. The food is good enough to attract loyal clientele. Drinks were tasty but weak. Had to request stronger ones twice. Overall a good experience. I would go back but would love to see service improvements. Again, the staff meant well but they need some organization and direction.

We always have a good time here the food is great and the hospitality is even better. It isn’t crowded I would love to see it do better!!!!

I usually love the mussels - but it was way too oily and very very spicy and I like spicy but it was way too hot !

Two of us had lasagna and one of us had chicken parmesan. When we bit into them, all three dishes were frozen! I would not go back because of this.

Very impressed with our dining experience at Meritage! Love the tapas style menu. Portions were very generous and delicious. We shared the baked clams (perfect! topping was crispy and clams were tender and tasty), grilled octopus (white bean puree was delicious!), Brussels sprouts (a bit too salty but otherwise very good), the meatballs (excellent! very tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of sauce; the polenta was great) and pork belly on skewers (my favorite!). Service was a bit spotty but they were very courteous. Nice location (easy to park, quiet neighborhood) and it was easy to have a conversation while dining. Definitely would visit again!

Staff was very nice…however food was pretty bland, water was warm and ladies bathroom was dirty. I haven’t been here in about a year and it is not the same. I will not be returning unfortunately.
