   A wonderful Easter brunch! Everything was perfect… the food, service and ambiance. A great place to celebrate with family.

   I was a little underwhelmed with the decor. I guess the name had me anticipating a more coastal vibe, and the pink wrapped boxes used as decorations kept putting to mind Valentines Day… or Christmas!! Although clean and sparse, they should definitely consider a slightly more coastal theme. Also, maybe it is just me but table linen would really dress things up a notch! The service was very nice but dressed a bit casual. Again, maybe my expectations were way off. The menu was somewhat limited so, I ordered the salmon and my date ordered the tuna. I selected blackened and she selected medium. Both were prepared perfectly. I actually struggled to give it an overall 4 (3-1/2 would be more accurate) rating bc I did find it a little boring and underwhelming. But with small tweaks it could really be a strong 4-4-1/2!! Just my two cents.

   Have been to the Mermaid Winery several times but mostly for lunch. The atmosphere is lovely. Our server was Ethan. He was delightful and very attentive. I had a Caesar salad with salmon and it was very good. My friend ordered the Brussels sprouts. They were very large and hard to cut but the taste was excellent. I would recommend it.

   Wonderful experience for our first time at Mermaid Winery. It was date night and it didn't disappoint. Our table was ready and waiting for us even though we arrived late. I phoned to let them know and they assured it would be okay, and it was. The space is great. Love the architecture and the giant mermaid painting. I also appreciate the size of the dining room, not huge and not tiny. The staff were very gracious and welcoming and very attentive, but not intrusive. The wine was great. I'm no connoisseur, but both my lovely partner and I enjoyed our selections. Our meals were delicious. The menu selections were great. Lots of creative dishes, but nothing extreme. I could feel adventurous in my choices without worrying about what I would get. I had the Blackened Tuna and my lovely partner had the Pork Loin. We were both happy with our choices. Delicious meals prepared perfectly and presented attractively. We look forward to a return visit to sample more of the menu, including dessert, which we skipped to get to the theater on time.

   Not quite as nice as normal. Server was not very attentive . We sat for 10 min before anyone came to the table. 4 people behind the bar chatting. Jen wasn’t around last night. Came for our favorite Tuna nachos. A little lacking on the tuna. Brussels sprouts were salty This is one of our favorite places. We will be back but not thrilled this time .

    Had a great time at Mermaid Winery. The food and wines were delicious and Morgan was an excellent waitress.
