Dine at the most breathtaking oceanfront setting in Kapalua Resort. Peter Merriman Chef/Restauranteur has brought his unique style of Hawaii Regional Cuisine to Maui. A pioneer in the “Farm to Table” concept, Peter serves only the freshest products, at least 90% of which are locally grown or caught, using only sustainable methods.

Reservations are released 60 days prior at 6am HST. This includes all holidays. Although we cannot accommodate parties larger than 8 people or split reservations in our main dining room, we do have other options available. Please email reservations@merrimanshawaii.com for groups larger than 8 people.

For a more casual dining experience, join us at The Point, our oceanside dining location offering a casual menu. The Point opens daily at 4pm, weather depending. Reservations are not needed or accepted for The Point. Happy Hour is from 4pm to 530pm at the Point and Bar.

    Join us for Valentine's Day dinner at Merriman's Maui! We are offering a 3 course prix fixe menu at $150 per person. All of our tables offer stunning ocean views. Tables will be seated from front to back, so we recommend booking our 4pm seating if your table location is very important to you. Location requests cannot be guaranteed. We will hold a table for you for 15 minutes past the reservation time. We ask that you limit your experience with us to 2 hours as a courtesy to the people waiting to be seated. If your plans should change, please let us know as soon as possible. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your reservation will incur a $150 no show fee.

      The food was exceptional and our server Eric elevated everything over the top. He made the experience. Knowledgeable, personable and enjoyable to interact with.

      I was pretty excited about coming here given it seems to be at the top of most lists I’ve read. We started with the ceviche with taro chips which was great. They poured us a nice complimentary glass of non-alcoholic champagne. We had the zero proof drinks and the Virgin Mai Thai was delicious esp with the foam. Ordered the macadamia-nut crusted mahi mahi which was very good, the fish was light and fluffy, the nuts added a little texture, and the accompanying broccoli and rice were also good. My partner ordered the pork dish which was pork on bone fried in duck fat and given a crispy layer. The description sounded amazing. The result however was a completely dried out pile of meat that honestly was so chewy and hardened that it just didn’t taste good. We asked for extra sauce to soften it up but we would give that a 3/5. Five stars for the wonderful waitress and all her attention and enthusiasm which, given how many tourists come through daily, that’s remarkable. Great spot on the water facing the sunset, so I’d come here for the great bar too.

      Our dinner at Merriman's was delicious. Perfect weather, beautiful sunset and view. Our server, Eric, was wonderful!!!

      The location is spectacular and the food was delicious. The waiter was attentive and we enjoyed live music later in the dinner. As the sunset you could tell why this location is a great venue for dinner.

      sat us for our reservation 35 minutes late. the decor inside the restaurant was beautiful. 2 sides of the restaurant had giant sliding doors that collapsed so you would have had an amazing view of the ocean. we went for a later reservation (7:30pm), and we weren’t able to see much of the lawn/ view and got sat late, so i would recommend an earlier dinner time for seeing the views and for ease of seating.

      This was our first time visiting this Merriman’s location and it did not disappoint. The Macadamia nut Mahi was outstanding and the chocolate purse is a must for dessert. We had a 6:15 reservation and didn’t need to wait much past that time. A reservation is highly recommended as a lot of people go for the view of the sunset and “camp” at their tables during that time. The only issue is the restaurant is loud. We almost couldn’t hear our own conversation.
