   Merriman’s consistently ranks among our favorite restaurants. The food and service are superb with great menu options for us GF folks. The wine and drink options are very good as well. Kathryn our server was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable and could not do enough to please us. Great choice if you are visiting the Big Island!

   Wonderful ambiance, tremendous service. The food was terrific. From the Lobster ravioli to the Mahi Mahi and finishing with bread pudding. Still one of the very best if not the best on the island. Looking forward to our next trip back here so we can go again.

   Another outstanding meal at Merriman’s! Today we all decided on the Smashburgers! And I am happy to report they were EXCELLENT! The side of home fried potatoes are just enough; one of us opted for a side salad (minimal up charge). We were too full for a traditional dessert but my wife received a lovely birthday treat (that was gone in seconds). Thank you to everyone. Kudos to the chef; and folks, the staff could not be nicer here. Try this restaurant on your next trip to the big island. With Aloha.

   Excellent meals, service, and experience. Only minor point was mashed potato was served lukewarm rather than hot like the rest of the plate which was hot. Desserts were Excellent.

   We had an amazing evening with a great server, Howard. He guided us through the menu making solid recommendations. The food was fantastic, ambiance delightful and the service was perfect.

    Wonderful brunch at one of the islands top spouts at a much friendlier price point than dinner. As usual everything about the experience was truly wonderful
