Charoset – A classic Ashkenazi preparation of apples, dried fruit, and nuts, reflecting the importance of tradition and adaptation across generations. Matzah – Unleavened bread has been a part of Passover tables for centuries, a reminder of the haste with which the Israelites fled Egypt, without time for their dough to rise. Appetizers Matzo Ball Soup – A dish with deep roots in New York’s Jewish culinary culture, this comforting soup is both nostalgic and timeless. Green Salad – Inspired by Tel Aviv’s love for fresh, vibrant flavors, this salad brings a refreshing balance to the meal that is a staple on Israeli plates Mains Branzino – A whole fish served in a Tunisian style, paying homage to the Mediterranean influences of Chef Eli’s wife’s heritage. Short Rib – Slow-cooked with Moroccan spices, this dish reflects the warmth and depth of Sephardic flavors found throughout Israel’s diverse food scene. Dessert Kisses – Light, airy meringues topped with fresh berries and Chantilly cream, inspired by the Polish heritage of Chef Eli’s wife and a sweet, delicate finish to the meal.
