The Mesquite Grille offers casual dining in an upscale yet comfortable environment. Under direction of Chef Mark Hamilton, the culinary experience at Mesquite Grille serves up tasty American and Southwest favorites.

                                                                                                                We found the food very very nice. A lovely variety and very tasty. The architecture of the building is such that the sound bounces off everywhere and we found it quite noisy. With a couple of golfers at the bar, their conversation carried all over the area. The massive windows and resulting light is lovely but made sitting facing the window made our companions a black blank and consequently difficult to visit. When it is cooler the outdoor are would be awesome. We are now looking forward to playing golf here. Thanks

We brought friends who had never been to Mesquite Grille. They were very impressed and plan on returning. We enjoyed playing bean bag toss after dinner. Overall very fun night - good friends, good view, good food.

                                                                                                                The improvements to Mesquite Grill are immense; however, the music chosen was really odd for this type of eatery. It was a mix of opera, rap, r & b, rock and roll, etc. and it was waaaaay too loud. Did not seem to go well with the TV's showing the current golf tournament. Very weird, but the food was great despite the fact that it began really noisy because of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce having a meeting on the patio and their presentation being made from the entrance to that space. We all felt part of it whether we wanted to or not! Should have set this up differently.

Our wait person apologized more than he should have to for problems. They were somewhat busy and seemed very understaffed. The food took over an hour from the time we arrived. Once we got the food it was a tepid temperature. The selection we made was a small quantity and had no taste. We both ordered something different so it was unanimous. The icing on the cake was sitting and waiting 27 more minutes to get our check to pay. We kept trying to get the wait person's attention to no avail. It was a very disappointing experience and meal.

We meet friends here for dinner at least a couple times a month and enjoy this place no end. Their new menu is wonderful and I would recommend the burgers. Prices very reasonable. When the evenings warm up their patio is wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

                                                                                                                The service was very good and the view was great., Surprizingly for American food it was very flaverful. The apps and main courses are not so big that you will have to talk poritons home but they are tasty. Improvements: At night - a need a sign at the entrance of the parking lot. If you drive in at night, you can not tell that there is a parking lot immediatly on the right off the main road from 105th - a lit up sign would for night would help ayone who has their first trip to the restaurant. I callled to get guidance on where the restaurant was located - - the noise level form the dining area is so high that you can not hear the greeter and she can't hear you.

                                                                                                                This was the first time at this renovated restaurant at the McDowell Mountain Golf Course. We were lucky enough to arrive during Happy Hour, which is from 4-7 p.m., when all the starters and drinks are half price. What a bargain! We ordered a wide selection of appetizers, and they were all great. We will visit frequently.
