   It was an amazing experience, we were able to meet with the chef, and also the artist of the murals inside and outside of the restaurant, which if anyone has not seen is a true work of art. The food is so amazing, and the drinks are really awesome. Brunch was fantastic and it is my favorite restaurant in Grand Rapids

   I’m probably just uncultured and used to American enchiladas but the chicken mole enchiladas were dry and a little bland. The hot (spicy) level was nice. More than “mild” which is good. The margarita was amazing though, I’d come just for the drinks in the future!

   Fantastic gluten free menu items that are safely prepared and delicious highlight Mexo’s menu for us. Ambience and service are excellent. Food quality is top notch. We ordered multiple appetizers to share and soup and had plenty of food. We would highly recommend Mexo!!

   We had a great server (Justin T). Food came out quick and hot. It was delicious!! We would go back again and recommend in a heartbeat!

   Excellent meal and experience We even had a conversation with the chef and learned more about the cuisine and the story behind it. Looking forward to going back and also experiencing one of their special monthly Friday evening dinners

    We like Mexo a couple times a year because of its imaginative and well prepared food. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet the usual standard of excellence we have learned to expect. We enjoyed the mole bites for starters. The guacamole was excellent, although the price on the very small serving (somewhat hidden by the vast amount of arugula) is excessive. The Carne astada was excellent. We asked for our shrimp to be 'mild plus'. recognizing that this is an ambiguous measurement, what we got was plus plus plus...seriously over seasoned. Have all of that said, the restaurant appeared to be seriously under-staffed. Our server was moving around the whole time, but we felt neglected. We didn't get a chance to re-order drink refills until we were nearly done, which meant the second round did not arrive until we were DONE eating.,, Everything took more time thabn it should have. The restaurant was full when we left (we were part of the first seating) dond an evening they would have know it would be full...valentines and all,
