Austin has so very many great restaurants. The great ones specialize focus, on their service or the food or creating an experience. The food here was not bad or great. The service was also simply not bad or great. Nothing bad to speak of here.

Decent - a few dishes overly salty (ceviche and lobster roll) Chicken dish was dry and over cooked Noisy in a good way but do not recommend for an quiet dinner or romantic setting. Staff were good

The food and ambience were excellent, but it would have been helpful if the waiter had informed us in advance that gratuity is automatically included for groups of six or more.

Dinner was phenomenal!!! We celebrated a special occasion and Sarah was incredibly helpful, and offered a few fun things to celebrate us. I absolutely recommend Mexta. Food - 10/10. Service 12/10. Atmosphere 10/10. Thank you Sarah, and Mexta team!!! Yall are amazing.

We sat at the bar and had an odd experience with poor communication by staff. Overall loved the food and plan to go back and sit at a table in hopes of a different experience.

Might be the most amazing Hamachi appetizer I’ve ever had, you could drink the sauce! My green red snap snapper dish looked like a beautiful fairy garden, the presentation was perfection. Our waiter was at the top of his game ! Never underestimate the hostess she has the power to set the evening off with a good vibe and that’s exactly what she did! Bravo

The salmon with plantain purée and chocomaiz were amazing, along with the stuffed peppers and ceviche! Cocktails some of the best we’ve had, getting the carajillo with dessert or a as nightcap is a must.
