In keeping with the spirit of a traditional mezcaleria found in Mexico City, the elongated, plush banquette anchors each table inviting guests to sink in and relax. Every corner of the dining room reveals treasures from Johnny’s travels, paired with captivating art like intricate Mexican embroidery that sparks conversation. At the heart of the space is a captivating mural on traditional bark paper by local Latinx artist Maria Morante, a powerful homage to Mexican folk art.

Another Alma hit! This place was so special and Owen at the chefs counter made the visit lots of fun. All of these dishes have such a unique profile and they’re all absolutely amazing. It felt like I was transported to CDMX as soon as I walked in. Will be back for more !

Lovely. My husband said it was a good thing we had to drive 20 minutes because this would be such a temptation if it was down the street. Had a toro tostada that was delicious and huitlacoche burrata that was my favorite. The corn cocktail tasted a bit like a pisco sour. It was really nice. Great service. Nice for date night.

Such a great new addition to the neighborhood! Bold, delicious flavors and fresh cocktails. The space is so gorgeous and inviting. We’ll be back for the oxtail taco - WOW.

I think this may be my favorite restaurant! We sat at the chefs counter and the chefs (Jordan and Owen) demeanor and energy was welcoming, entertaining, and inviting. The food was unbelievable with every dish bringing new flavors. Ambience is lively and intimate at the same time. This place is a MUST!

We really enjoyed our experience sitting at the chef’s counter where we could talk with the chefs about the preparation and ingredients for each of the items we ordered.

First visit was great, love Alma and what they are doing. The several small plates we had were delicious and well executed. The service was good, at the chefs counter and maybe a little too much interaction but good experience. Only complaint is the ventilation, I don’t want to smell the restaurant on my hair and clothes when I get home

Hands down one of the best meals i’ve had in Denver. Sat at the chefs counter and enjoyed every second. Food was timed perfectly, music was good, recommendations from the servers was spot on, but overall it was yet another lovely worth every penny meal, that was inspired and delicious. So excited to go back and try everything we didn’t try this round.
