Welcome to Illinois oldest craft brewer and brewpub. Serving up many of your pub style favorites, Mickey Finns Brewery is the place to go for lunch or dinner in historic downtown Libertyville. Try the fish and chips, homemade thin crust pizza or any of our burger/sandwich offerings. With over 12 handcrafted Mickey Finn's beers on tap, plus a full array of drinks, cocktails and wine there is something for everybody. Brunch served every Saturday and Sunday 11am -3pm. Walk-ins welcome too..

If you want to catch the big game, Mickey Finns Brewery also has you covered, with over 14- 70" tv's in bar and dining room. Order up some appetizers (wings, pretzels, beer nuggets and more). Let your server know what your favorite beer is and settle in to enjoy what's on screen. Family owned and operated.

    Tropical fruit salad hop aromas burst from the glass, followed by a luscious sweet malt flavor on the tongue. An outrageous quantity of hops was used in this ale, predominantly of the Liberty variety. Dry hopped with Citra. No pineapples were harmed during the production of this beer. And yes, it is that strong. Style: Double IPA; Alcohol by Volume: 8.70%; Color: pale; Flavor: hop, and more hop, citrus, floral; Aroma: floral - 8.8% abv

    The Amber is a American-style amber ale with bold hop character. The darker malts that are used during the brewing process create the amber color of the beer as well as the caramel sweetness of the flavor. The Amber is named after the Abana family who bottled artesian well water at the turn of the century in Lake County.     Our most popular spring/summer beer,Hefe is a German-style wheat ale brewed with 60% wheat malt and 40% malted barley. This brew is one of our most popular and has won several awards. The Hefe is unfiltered, allowing yeast to remain in suspension, which creates a hazy appearance. Served in a 22oz glass.     Will always be one of my favorite places. But the fish fry changed. Fish was ok, but the old recipe was better. Cost was $22.50 which is way too much for a fish fry and a $2 service fee was also added to my bill. Will be back for the beer, but will likely go elsewhere for a fish fry

    Used to Be Amazing, But It’s Just Not the Same My family has been coming to this restaurant for years, and it used to be one of our absolute favorites. The flavors…comfortable and familiar, the portions generous, and the menu had this perfect balance of bar fare and comfort food. Sadly, since the new chef took over, it feels like a completely different place. Many of the old menu items are gone or have been “reimagined.” Some of the new dishes sound good on paper, but they just don’t deliver. Despite the suggestion the kitchen is using more fresh ingredients, the flavors feel muted. The PIZZA—which used to be our absolute go-to—is now a shadow of its former self: dry, store bought crust, flavorless sauce, boring cheese…simply lacking that balance it once had. The service is still great, and the staff is as friendly as ever, but even they seem aware that something has shifted. I overheard another table talking about how disappointed they were as well. We really want to root for this place because it holds so many good memories for our family, but it’s hard to justify coming back when the food no longer matches the price—or the hype it used to have. Here’s hoping they can find their footing again.

    My husband and daughter had reservations for a “date” prior to the Daddy Daughter Dance. They ordered immediately upon being seated but the server never put in their order to the kitchen. Other tables that arrived after them were served. They left after 45 minutes with no meal.

    Mickey Finn’s is laid back, decent food, great atmosphere! You MUST try the Santa’s Magic beer, seasonal from November until it runs out-my favorite!!

    While it’s not exactly a romantic date spot, the food and service were excellent and we noticed that all of the families with young children were thoroughly enjoying themselves.

    This is our favorite spot for a number of reasons. Namely the staff and the service. Sure the food is great. Cocktails are wonderful. But the staff in the star of the show. Always welcoming. Always courteous. They really are what makes the experience at Mickey Finns great each and every time. In my humble opinion no other bar/restaurant in Libertyville hold a candle to Mickey Finns in this regard. Thank you. Appreciate you. See you around the way soon.
