London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

                                                  Major communication lapse. Table booked for 10 pm, not seated until 1015, order taken 1030, but it was only when our mains were served at 1055 that we were told the bar and kitchen were closing in 5 mins, at 11 pm and we hand to be off premises by 1130. Had to preorder dessert, which arrived cold. Given the delay in seating us, we should have been told then about the time restrictions. Seating delays are far more frequent at this branch than other Mildred’s, suggesting an organizational problem. Food and service excellent.

                                                  For the most part, really good vegan dishes. The mushroom pie was excellent as were the kids' hamburgers. Entrees were interesting and flavoursome. I have to state that the Sri Lankan main was woeful, however. That's a cuisine I'm extremely experienced in however if I'd eaten this dish blindfolded, I'd never pick it as being Sri Lankan, not in the slightest. Misrepresentation aside, it was lacking flavour. Service was good although the noise levels in our little dining room were frequently over 90 decibels.

                                                  Great vegan restaurant on Lexington Street Soho. They have a good menu and drinks list. I met some friends there for some dinner on Sunday. We really liked the place and would certainly recommend Mildred's to anyone who enjoys vegan food. We look forward to our next visit to the restaurant. With thanks.

                                                  They’ve packed more tables into the place and it’s very very loud if there’s groups in. Not good for a date as it’s hard to hear each other. Always awkward to get in/out of the banquettes as the tables are so close together you inevitably end up knocking the next table. saw another couple ask to move as they were finding it too much. The food is still good, staff are nice, but less of a gem than it used to be unfortunately.
