Located in the heart of Hoggs Hollow just south of York Mills and Yonge, Toronto's famous Jolly Miller has been reborn as the Miller Tavern, complete with a bar lounge, elegant casual dining and one of the city's largest outdoor patios.     Great Friday evening out with 5 girlfriends. Excellent service, great dinner options and wine. Escargot appetizers were divine. Beef short rib was delicious. We enjoyed the live music. Fun energy and not so loud that we couldn't have a conversation. Will go back !

    If I could give zero stars, I would. Last night’s experience was, unfortunately, a series of disappointments from start to finish. The risotto was bland and full of canned mushrooms – I’ve had better from a packet of Uncle Ben's. The duck was so tough it was nearly inedible, and even the martini lacked any trace of alcohol, tasting more like lemonade. To make matters worse, our first server was condescending and treated us as though we needed a lesson in etiquette rather than providing good service. For a restaurant of this supposed caliber, everything about the night was terrible. Management should take the time to test the dishes they’re serving and invest in better training for the staff.

    Our server was amazing! Best service I have gotten in ages. The manager even stopped by to make sure we were okay - he was lovely as well. Food was great!

    The place is really nice and the service was great. The food was so-so. We began with crab cakes and the crispy seafood - actually felt like more zucchini than seafood :(. The short ribs were about okay but the sea bass was really very oily. The dessert was better, specially the sticky toffee pudding. I feel it is a good place to take guests. The parking is ample and the ambience is good. Not a place which would be my go to restaurant for great food.
