With its unique setting perched atop a waterfall in Simsbury, Connecticut, Millwright’s invites guests to dine in the 17th century mill with acclaimed, James Beard nominated Chef Tyler Anderson and his team. Featuring daily-chosen farm ingredients, the freshest and most select product, proprietary cocktails, and exciting wine menu, Millwright’s offers a new experience to the Farmington Valley farm-to-table dining scene. The culinary team understands the impact of the highest-quality fresh ingredients. Millwright’s kitchen thrives on local ingredients – grown, raised, produced, foraged and prepared – whenever possible. They also take the farm-to-table concept one step further. Millwright’s has partnered with a farm that will grow most of its organic produce. The “Inspired New England” cuisine at Millwright’s pays homage to the land, to the flavor-rich quality of local, fresh ingredients and to the time-honored cooking techniques that enhance the natural goodness of those ingredients.

    We had an amazing experience celebrating our son's 18th birthday. We ordered the chef's tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course that was served to us. The wait staff was outstanding and the food was delicious.

    Best meal we ever had! Service was beyond expectations. We had best seat in house at window overlooking icy waterfall.

    Millwrights is a personal favorite …. Highly recommend the food, ambiance and staff… Lincoln was our server and did an amazing job. Five stars

    We had a wonderful anniversary again this year at Millwrights! Last year we did the Chefs Tasting Menu "A tour of our cuisine" and it did not disappoint in the slightest. My wife also did the beverage pairing with the tasting menu and I opted to go with a few of their cocktails. Everything across the board was tremendous, atmosphere, service, food, drinks, everything. Yes the restaurant is on the expensive side but you are paying for an extremely wonderful unique experience. 10/10 will return again!

    Millwrights is the BEST! Chef Tyler and his staff are wonderful! Do yourself a favor and book a special dinner there! You will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to go back again soon!!!! We have done everything from ordering off the menu, many chef tasting and last night our first of what o hope to be many guest chef series tasting menu!!! Fabulous!!!!

    Amazing experience! It was my friends birthday and they gave champagne toast and a hand written card it was so nice! Food and service was incredible per usual. Also the views are great.

    Another great meal at Millwright's. My husband and I celebrated both of our birthdays here on a Friday night on the bridge. Our table was ideal, overlooking the waterfall. They have done an amazing job enclosing the bridge and making it warm and cozy and not jamming too many tables in there. Service was perfect throughout. We were wared that entrees were taking an hour, but our meal was very well paced. We started with shrimp cocktail and a cocktail. We had wine with dinner, which was duck breast for my husband and Lamb shepherds pie for me. Both were excellent. Dessert was a banana sticky toffee pudding, which was very good - but not quite as good as Gordon Ramsey's :) Millwright's offers plenty of vegan options and, for the service and ambiance you get, I think the food is priced very well. Except one steak, everything was under $40.
