With its unique setting perched atop a waterfall in Simsbury, Connecticut, Millwright’s invites guests to dine in the 17th century mill with acclaimed, James Beard nominated Chef Tyler Anderson and his team. Featuring daily-chosen farm ingredients, the freshest and most select product, proprietary cocktails, and exciting wine menu, Millwright’s offers a new experience to the Farmington Valley farm-to-table dining scene. The culinary team understands the impact of the highest-quality fresh ingredients. Millwright’s kitchen thrives on local ingredients – grown, raised, produced, foraged and prepared – whenever possible. They also take the farm-to-table concept one step further. Millwright’s has partnered with a farm that will grow most of its organic produce. The “Inspired New England” cuisine at Millwright’s pays homage to the land, to the flavor-rich quality of local, fresh ingredients and to the time-honored cooking techniques that enhance the natural goodness of those ingredients.

    Join us Thursday March 20th for a dinner featuring Alejandro and Argentinian food and wine. “Our much loved Chef de Cuisine Alejandro Leiva is back at Millwright’s as our Chef De Cuisine. Many have been asking when we’d do another dinner with him and here it is… Come join us in the loft for a family style feast featuring the food and wine of Argentina and Alejandro. Please note that in Argentinian tradition this meal will be served family style for the table.” Starts at 6:30 Pm and will be $120 per person (plus tax and tip) and will include food and wine.

    If you’re looking for a higher end fancy night out this is the place. The service, ambience, food is worth every dollar. Great way to treat my mom out on her 75th birthday. Short ribs were absolutely tender and delicious. Desserts were one of a kind. View of the waterfall through giant windows gave a lovely view.

    Had dinner with my granson, who loves this restaurant. Scott provided wonderful service and the food was fantastic.

    Our dinner at Millwrights was excellent as usual. The Black Bass and BBQ Short Ribs were delicious and prepared perfectly. The Cauliflower soup was excellent, as was the Kale Caesar Salad. Our server Ron was outstanding, providing both quality service and being very outgoing and helpful. Millwrights continues to be and outstanding restaurant and we highly recommend it.

    Food was extraordinary,the wait staff was a delight and super informative. The setting and scenery were outstanding 👌 👏 🙌. Perfect spot for a date. Very intimate. Beautiful building and historic place. Fully recommend to anyone looking for upscale dinning 🍽

    Amazing Valentines Dinner! Many options to choose from there four course menu. My New York strip was cooked to my liking and my boyfriend loved his scallops and raviolis. Drinks were on point too

    We had an excellent meal at Millwright’s!!! It’s one of my favorite restaurants and the holiday menu exceeded all expectations. Great night!

    The atmosphere and view in the covered bridge section we sat was beautiful. The food was excellent and out of the ordinary. The wait staff was very professional and friendly. The total experience was wonderful. It is pricey but worth it.

    Went for Valentine’s day dinner and the had the pre fixed menu which was fantastic. Great value for all the food received, food was amazing and portions were great. We will be back

    Excellent ambiance and atmosphere, location on the river makes it very rememerable. Food dishes very creatively put together.
