                        Yasser was fantastic! He walked us through the menu, recommended drinks and food, and made sure that my guests and I were well taken care of.

                        We had the tasting menu. The sea bass in ginger scallion was good as was the pork belly dish. Nice deserts. Most of the food was meh. Very expensive for what it was. If I were to go back I’d order a couple of mains and a plain white rice for 2 people. We’re from NYC and are spoiled in regard to Chinese food. Mimi’s is twice the price and half as good.

                        Super fun dinner with a group of four. We started with shrimp toast, dumplings and cucumber salad. The cucumber salad offered a really nice crunchy and acidic flavor profile against the delicious savory other items. We shared the hidden chicken (super fun and not super spicy) and the hunan chili sea bass (which we opted to have served without the head). The sea bass was a highlight for me- good amount of spice along side nice flavor. The rice noodle rolls were also a highlight. Finished with this yummy boiled cake custardy dessert that had some egg yolks inside and some green tea. Definitely a great restaurant to bring a larger group. Noise level was on the higher side but worth it because food was awesome.

                        Everything was amazing and I was really looking forward to trying this place out. Claudia was excellent, professional, knowledgeable and helpful and the food was delicious. We were 4 so enough people to try many things. Will be back for sure. Great addition to the neighborhood. 🙌🏽

                        We had an absolutely incredible meal! Can’t wait to come back! First, the cocktails were innovative and delicious! We ordered the chicken dumplings to start and they came with the most unbelievable sauce, never had anything like it. We got the 4 foot belt noodles with black bean sauce, General Tso’s chicken, Chinese eggplant and the Hidden Crispy chicken. They were all amazing!! Then, for dessert, we had the black sesame cheesecake, again another unusual dish that I hadn’t tasted ever before, we polished it off in no time! Highly recommend everything, the place is also beautiful and the staff was extremely attentive.

                        The hostess was really nice but the waiter was never around and never checked on us once. The food was horrible. Overcooked fried chicken so dry it was unedible. The pasta was so over slated, we literally left every plate full, closed out and went to another restaurant. It’s unfortunate because I was really looking forward to trying this place out. Def won’t go back.

                        First time and will definitely be back! Loved the vibe and the space is the perfect size. All this enormous restaurants nowadays, Mimi’s space feels intimate and sultry. It would be great if they started a happy hour - maybe just at the actual bar if they don’t want to take up tables. I say this mostly because it would be nice to have a menu with smaller bites if you don’t want all the larger plates. But either way- a really great experience- food was very very good as was the service.

                        Food was great but the service was quite bad. Waiter didn't come to the table even once; I had to call him twice to even get a water glass (paid bottle) refilled. Tables are way too close together and you can't converse without raising your voice.
