   I have been here several times and always a great experience. When it came time to find a place that was centrally located for us, ease of parking, food for a lactose and gluten intolerant person and was reasonably priced, this was the first place that came to mind. The restaurant was the busiest I have seen it especially for a Monday night. Service was slow to get started to the point that my guests wanted to leave. But once we knew a new service person was being trained, everyone became more patient and understanding. Service did improve after. Food was fantastic. Everyone was over the moon with the paella, drinks etc. Enjoyed our evening very much. Thank you!

   We ordered the mild seafood paella, and it was... mild. It had no flavour, and the seafood shells were too soft to crack open. Dessert was melted frozen cake.

   We wanted to take some friends out for dinner to Mimo and booked a table for dinner on a Friday evening. We were the only patrons. We shared the house special salad with serrano ham and cheese and juicy tomatoes as well as the calamari in tomato sauce, the shrimp fritters and the barbequed prawns. It was all delicious, except there is not much meat on the prawns, so we won't be ordering them again. We were still a bit hungry so we decided to share the piri piri chicken so we would know whether to order it again. It is served with salad and what they mean by potato fries are not packaged sticks, but slices of potatoes which seemed pan fried. We shared a litre of the house white, which we all enjoyed. We then did a little shopping at the in house deli where we bought the piri piri sauce deemed by the chef to be closest to what they make in house. Everything they sell in that shop is reasonably priced. I also picked up balsalmic vinegar from Modena and some light as air cookies called "Beijinhos de Pombal". In the past I have bought olives and spices. I would highly recommend this place. The new owners have only be there for two years and are really trying to make everyone who dines there happy.

   The squid appy was tender and tasty. Hope they get octopus someday! We opted for the sardines and sole for the main courses. Good portions of food with excellent fried potatoes. Not bad Portugese food and only Portugese restaurant in Calgary ( Nando's does chicken Portugese style). Good friendly staff and this place has been in Calgary for many years.

   Best seafood in Calgary and beyond. The seafood platter would satisfy 4 seafood lovers and then some. The sauce can be either medium or hot, the vegetables at the bottom of the platter are nice and crispy but infused with this amazing red sauce!! Plenty of muscles, clams, gorgeous shrimp, crab and of course a very large lobster split in half for convenience!!! We have eaten in some pretty great restaurants, but Mimo's seafood platter is outstanding, especially for the value!!! Keep it up and thank you!!

   Found this on a "Google" search., The location I was perfect for what we needed to do afterwards. Absolutely would go again! Everything was excellent.

   Was totally blown away by this place. Appearances can be deceiving, once you got inside it was stunning and seemed liked you traveled to Portugal. Food and service was AMAZING!!! Loved this place and we will definitely be going back. cheers,

    Exceptional food and service! Our lack of knowledge and understanding of Portuguese food and wine was quickly put at ease and fun was had by all!
