                                                                                  We had a reservation, but when we walked to the front desk, the girls grabbed some menus, stopped, put them back, then waved us over to the open seating bar area. We were on a schedule and that's not what i wanted, but we reluctantly walked over there.. tables were not cleaned off and we waited longer to be greeted and served. Server was good, but I was confused as to what happened at the front desk and why the host girls didn't do their job. Seemed a bit lazy to me.

                                                                                  Minerva’s used to be a favorite place to go, but we hadn’t been in years. We joe remember why. Our waiter did a fair job, wasn’t overly attentive, but paid enough attention to make sure we were taken care of. Cocktails were good, but food was a major let down. Chicken Oscar used to be phenomenal, but I didn’t even eat half this time. Chicken was bone in, crab was overly fish smelling, no hollandaise sauce, carrots were undercooked and plain boring mashed potatoes. The spinach dip appetizer was tasty, but the color was a little off putting. .

                                                                                  Inexperienced waiter. Told them when I made the reservation it was a birthday celebration. The waiter had no clue. Food was oversauced. We had a great time, but not because of the food or service. Like so many things these days, we lost good customer service and people taking pride in their work.

                                                                                  Worst meal ever. After waiting 25 minutes after placing our order, we had to ask our waitress if she could please check on our salads. Three minutes later she delivered them to our table. As we were about halfway through eating them, our dinners were delivered. My wife ordered the seafood risotto which was mostly risotto and not much seafood. I ordered the Wednesday night special which was a top sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes. The meat was so tough that I could hardly cut it, let alone chew it.
