Mint 29 is an upscale fusion cuisine that serves the best international dishes. It got its name from the mint coins found on the walls of the historical building during renovations. The place was built in 1929 and was a federal bank for several years, then a music store before it became Mint 29 restaurant.

Mint 29 serves organic kobe beef, fresh seafood, sushi, signature drinks and draft beer. However, some items on our menu will change seasonally, mainly in the summer, when we get fresh produce from Michigan farmers, to give you the best experience every time you visit us.

Everything about this place was wonderful! Only negative thing I can say is that it was really cold outside and there are two doors to come in and out and it was freezing from being opened frequently so dress warm if its cold out.

Food was wonderful. Sea Bass was outstanding. Server was wonderful as well. Food took a while to arrive.

The waitstaff was friendly but inept. Waited 15 minutes for salad. Was only served salad and bread when I finally asked the host what was taking so long. Bread was served with a cheese knife. I was asked if I wanted butter. I had to ask for bread plates. Food was flavorful and served at appropriate temperature. Prices were high for quality of food and service.

Been twice now. Both times were excellent meals very tasty and left us wanting to come back. Both times however the waiters were quite unfamiliar with the menu and unable to give much feedback about the sauces and types of dishes. My wife has a lot of food allergies and the first thing we did was ask our waiter to steer her clear of garlic. He salad was loaded with garlic and she spent most of the night suffering for it, which is the only reason I am likely not to go back again.

I had a delicious meal as a part of Dearborn Restaurant Week. This was my second time dining at Mint 29 and I will definitely be back. It is a bit pricey but the food is really good.

Pleasure being able to be seated right at our reservation time. From the drinks and appetizers right to the main course with sides, everything was cooked perfectly and was so tasty! Will certainly be back....

Mint 29!!! What an amazing restaurant! Everything was superb- the service, the food, the attention to detail! The crab mac n cheese was nice and creamy. The roasted carrots had just the right amount of sweetness. My drink was great (spiced pear mule) Great addition to Dearborn!
