Mirabella is an Italian steakhouse in the same location where Mirabell Restaurant once stood in the heart of Irving Park. Mirabell, a local staple for nearly 40 years, could not be easily ignored or forgotten; so when the new Owner, Chef Arturo, left his career of 20 years as Head Chef at one of the best steakhouses in downtown Chicago, he felt it was important to recognize Mirabell's unique and longstanding contributions to the community. Mirabella is proud to honor the history and integrity of the former restaurant, while serving the cuisine that Chef Arturo is so passionate about. My three adult children and I enjoyed a wonderfully prepared meal and festive friendly atmosphere at mirabella on Christmas Eve. We had a great time and will definitely be back!!

We remember the original restaurant the Mirabel. Good German food. This wonderful restaurant the Mirabella is in a word: Fabulous! The Ecuadoran people who own and run this fine establishment beat any 5 star steak house! Congratulations to them. Old world elegance, service, charm and these wonderful fired potato’s chips will keep you coming back! This made our Christmas Eve! Muchas gracias mi amigos y amigas, y Feliz Navidad! We were seated next to a boisterous round table table of 8. Because of my hearing loss, I had difficulty carrying on a conversation at my table. Tables with a large party tend to be noisy. I suggest seating such groups where they may be a lesser nuisance to others. I had an enjoyable evening and the service was excellent. The food was very good and plentiful, but the price a tad high. This was truly a great experience. The restaurant is a classic. A matre ‘d in a tuxedo greets you as you enter. The dining room is warm and inviting. Our server was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our cocktails, often poorly made by bartenders, were perfect. The menu has offerings for every taste and easily met our gluten free requirements. Prices are fair. Just a great experience on how dining out used to be.

Excellent service, unique old world decor, low low noise - wood and carpet does that versus high decibel marble and glass in newer restaurants. Food was outstanding . Had great glass of red wine.

It’s always a good meal here. The wait staff of as friendly as can be and not pushy or in your face all the time. You’ll never be with it a full glass of water.

We have been coming here for years. The staff are terrific and service couldn't be better. The place is so comfortable..easy to chat and the food is always very good. Parking across the street.
