Mirabella is an Italian steakhouse in the same location where Mirabell Restaurant once stood in the heart of Irving Park. Mirabell, a local staple for nearly 40 years, could not be easily ignored or forgotten; so when the new Owner, Chef Arturo, left his career of 20 years as Head Chef at one of the best steakhouses in downtown Chicago, he felt it was important to recognize Mirabell's unique and longstanding contributions to the community. Mirabella is proud to honor the history and integrity of the former restaurant, while serving the cuisine that Chef Arturo is so passionate about. Nice dinner I saw an old menu on the table that was less expensive than the current menu and was disappointed with the price I had to pay for the surf and turf special. Steak was ok, a bit of cartilage in it on the sides. Grilled calamari was phenomenal and so was the bananas foster’s.

First We have reservation and we get the table 45 minutes later, Not pleasant. Smell in the room. Service New employee alone. They were pouring water to Customer from a pocket in the floor everyone passing above cleaning above.

While I understand that it was Friday and Valentines Day, the restaurant was seriously overbooked. We waited an hour past our reservation and found there were still many tables ahead of us so we left and did not eat there. We were not the only ones leaving. There seemed to be no point in making a reservation. Very disappointed

The food was amazing and the waiter was great, but they double booked every single table so even with a reservation, there were 40-50 people waiting an hour+ for a table. Completely disorganized in the front of the house, but once we finally got a table, the experience was very good.

The food was all around a miss. From flavor, to temp of steak. Needed salt with every dish. I would not recommend this place with Olive Garden across the street, despite being chain and corp.
