In 1946, the Coutier family became the first to plant Chardonnay in the grand cru village of Ambonnay, the heart of the Montagne de Reims. This was a substantial break from the tradition of Pinot Noir dominant champagnes in the region. A fine balance between texture and firmness define R.H. Coutier's wines, thanks to the warmer microclimate and chalky limestone soil. Five generations later, R.H. The history of IWA 5 sake is tied to the life of Richard Geoffroy, former Dom Pérignon chef de cave who founded the IWA Sake brewery in Japan in 2019 He's known for his blending skills and innovative approach to sake making Geoffroy's appreciation for Japan and its people led him to establish the IWA Sake brewery in Tateyama, Toyama IWA 5 is made using an experimental process that changes every year The sake is a blend of three Japanese rice strains (Yamada Nishiki, Gohyakumangoku, and Omachi) and five yeast strains, including a wine yeast The kura is designed to channel the core principles of IWA: inclusivity, horizontality, and community Geoffroy's goal is to make a sake that is true to Japan, and to contribute to a story that has a centuries long history

Food was great but the service was terrible. They were very passively rude in the way they treated us. Our server seemed like she didn’t want to help us. We are in our early 20s. We saw she treated other guests around the same age as us well, so we knew she wasn’t treating us poorly because of our young age. We observed our server was very nice and accommodating with other tables; however, they treated us as if we couldn’t pay for the food. We dressed nice but casual. I suggest if you go there and don’t want to be treated poorly, dress nice and not casual.

Have dined here multiple times. Seemed like they were having an off night. Coursing seemed a little off - heavy and light dishes mixed and also hot and cold dishes mixed. Unusually long wait for a bottle of wine. Not a bad experience, but definitely not up to the usual standard.

Very limited sushi selection . It’s a good restaurant in a really nice location. Service was good . Food is totally overpriced but that’s normally what you get while eating at a 5 stars hotel.

We went for pajama brunch for NYE. Nothing special about it. There was a little buffet consisting of scrambled eggs, hash browns, meat and some pastries. We had to order off the menu for coffee and drinks. It wasn’t included in the buffet price. Overall felt like a lackluster brunch- something I’d see at a 3 star hotel offering cafeteria breakfast. The vibe wasn’t fun either. We love Miru and Tredita - food has been spectacular but def skipping the NYE brunch next year. Not worth it.

Please note that there were four buffets for New Year's Day brunch including an extensive sushi selection, beef and salmon carving station, sizzling rice, grilled skewers, as well as a variety of pastries, desserts and sweet treats from the St Regis culinary team. Experience was lovely; however, I was disappointed with the Japanese station. Salmon was very dry and overcooked. I would have expected a better selection of dumplings.

I fell near the breakfast station due to food or drink spill from guest or wait staff. I was not drinking alcohol. Wait staff was not watching for spills but there was plenty of staff. Spoiled my hotel stay at St. Regis. I had to ask to see manager versus them coming out. Customer service was not great.

The New Year’s Eve experience per person was 250+ tax plus gratuity and the set up was horrible. Unless you booked a table which was six people or above there was no seating except for a few sofas no tables on which to put any of your food or drinks. People were putting drinks on the floor and people were basically standing for three hours or leaning up against the bar because there were no barstools no bar tables no nothing. The only thing that was good were the drinks in the food but I would never do this experience again and there were a lot of people that complained because there were no seats

This year, we opted to host a cocktail style event, with food stations, passed canapés and limited seating (and offered guests to purchase a table for the evening). We understand that perhaps the seated dinner would have been a better fit for you and hope you will join us again soon!
