Excellent food and service. The pork chop was incredible as was the red beans and rice. The bread pudding was the perfect ending to a memorable meal.

We went for a “beignets with Santa” brunch. The atmosphere was great and the adult’s food was good. However, with the kids brunch priced at $45, the food was little better than a frozen dinner. The chicken tenders were spongy and cheap in appearance, and the beignets were good, but it was one per child. It just did not add up to a $45 dollar per person experience. I would go back for brunch, but I would stay away from the kids menu as for that price they deserve better.

The truffle fries were a total letdown. Whatever was shaved on top had absolutely zero flavor, and the absurd market price made it even worse. I can’t believe they would serve basically a large order of fries for 46 dollars and it was so bland. We had a large party ordering many dishes, nobody left the dinner happy from the food.

Lots of small misses, but it's a holiday and the food was really good. The service team did what they could to make things right. Whole fried chicken was amazing, all the sides were good. I'd come back.

This was our second visit to Miss River and it was disappointing to put it nicely. We were greeted by a back server immediately who provided us with water and set the table; however, after that, nobody came to check on us again for fifteen minutes. The mushroom toast was flavorless and pretty disgusting; my curry was also flavorless, bland, and watery. My daughter ordered the beef tournedos medium rare and they were almost well done. I will mention that the BBQ shrimp were tasty and the bread service was fine also. Overall, this food is not acceptable for the price nor for a city famous for its cuisine. To top off this bad experience, we waited outside at valet for our car for over 30 minutes. We won’t be back nor will we recommend Miss River to our local friends or visiting guests.

We went to the brunch service was awesome beautiful restaurant but the food honestly would have been better at the waffle house— I’m sad because it was my sisters birthday and it was super pricey— my omelette only had a bit of plain crabmeat on it my sister had some scrambled eggs on a piece of toast the eggs weren’t cooked though my brothers shrimp and grits were like a child’s serving size very pricey not good— oh we got dessert and that was the best baked Alaska— and we had some sweet potato brioche that was excellent— so I’m done with brunch here— I did have dinner there before and it was delicious
