Located on Mission Street between Ocean Ave & 7th Ave, in Carmel California. Mission Bistro Restaurant is owned by Shaheen Alnuaimi. Our history-rich location is warm, charming, and above all cozy. We offer brunch, lunch, dinner, local, and import wines. Chef Matt Zimny sources from Monterey and Santa Cruz County farms and ranches with the goal of serving what is fresh and currently available. The service was good, staff was personable, and food was great. What really hit ball out of park was they accommodated our dog inside on a cold Carmel day and had dog menu. Will definitely come back to this place!

Came to Carmel for the weekend, wanted to enjoy a nice restaurant. Overall was an okay experience. Hostess and server were kind and provided great service. Steak frites was highly disappointing. Steak was overcooked and fries were overcooked as well. Black cod was ok but the cost the of food doesn’t match the quality. Chocolate marquise dessert was good but was confused by how hard the bottom of it was and I’m not sure if that was by design or what. Had much higher expectations for this place. Wouldn’t come again.

Greeted warmly, friendly helpful staff. The miso sake black cod was delicious and perfectly cooked, and our first experience with quail did not disappoint. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.

We had an amazing experience at mission bistro. Our server was very attentive, friendly and professional and was so kind and helpful with our 1 year old baby (thank you! Sorry we forgot her name but she used to work as a home nurse for some time!) She gave great recommendations for food and also helped us talk to the chef to make something healthy under the kids menu for our baby. We ordered 2 seafood courses and both were very fresh and tasted really good. We would love to come back to visit again

Enjoyed our dinner, great service. Be sure to enjoy the bread service, crab cakes, beet salad and black cod were delicious!

The swordfish was a bit dry. Black cod and the noodles were out of the world. Service was excellent. The specials for dogs is a very nice touch.
