Think creative dishes like watermelon crudo and an arepa sampler with sauces like creamy guasacaca alongside colorful cocktails and wines from South America. Savor it all in an industrial-chic space surrounded by glass windows and with flower garlands draped over the bar. It’s all led to rave reviews, including by The Washington Post food critic Tom Sietsema.

This was the most amazing meal! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, described in a way that made your mouth water and was served with grace and dignity. Each server was nicer than the next and every course delivered by a server well versed in what was being offered. The respect for the food and art of the flavors and theme of each dish was reflected in the way each course was described. We loved the ambiance, the beautiful cutlery, glass and tableware. Everywhere you look in the restaurant you lay your eyes on something calming and exquisitely designed. The attention to detail and commitment to perfection is clear in every part of this restaurant. Simply stated - perfect experience.

No need for meat. We had a 14 course beautiful, delightful, vegetarian dinner and it was perfect. Every plate presentation is beautiful and yummy. Service is amazing

Delicious dishes, loved the arepas upgrade. Staff was warm and friendly, very accommodating to client’s needs and preferences. Water was quickly refilled. Music was really good too. My favorite dish was probably the watermelon ceviche. Delicious! Will definitely go back!

We had an incredible experience at MITA. It’s definitely a special occasion place. As a long time vegan, it was nice to be able to have the same meal as my meat eating family members. Presentation, service, decor…incredible. The final course, dessert was not great but the rest of the food was a total hit.

One of the best vegetarian/vegan restaurants I have been too. I can see why they won a Michelin Star. Absolutely deserving.

Sat & the bar which was great. Lou and his team were so personable & superb service. The food was delicious & presentation beautiful. Absolute favorite Tia Mia soup.

The service and cocktails were great. The soup was definitely the best dish. The rest of the dishes were less impressive and left a fried after taste. Including tip and one cocktail per person, we paid $300 for two. We feel that for that amount, we could have more value, but that is a very personal opinion. We applaud the owner’s/chef’s creativity.
