    I expected a little bit more for New Year Eve. Service was OK. The waitress asked all guests names in the very beginning, which was very unusual. After that she lost her smile and attention, while providing more attention to other tables. I would never give my name upfront again. It could impact the service quality. Overall, it is still a nice place to come

    It was all good our server could of stopped by to see what we needed but it was good will be back

    I love Mitchell’s. It’s not because it bears my name but because the quality of seafood is consistent. Yesterday, my shrimp and scallops were slightly overcooked. It was rectified immediately.

    You need THREE bartenders during happy hour. I stood at the bar for 20 minutes trying to get a drink.

    Disappointing. Waitress told me they were out of risotto, then out of scallops, but they were really making more risotto. The General Manager corrected and at the end of the meal the waitress said that she was glad she could get the risotto for me. She didn’t do it. Hair in my salad didn’t help with the experience. Crème brûlée was not caramelized well, no crunch. Was our best experience last year, worst this year. Thought that the GM would’ve discounted our check or offered a discount on a future visit. Nothing. Will seek out a new spot for next year.

    This isn’t the first time our family has been to Mitchell’s. Last year we opted to go to another establishment for Christmas and were disappointed. So we decided to go back to Mitchell’s because we have never been disappointed. Well after this visit, I don’t need to go back. The menu was limited for Christmas. There were several open tables but they sat us at a small table for 4. The service was extremely slow and I believe it was due to our waiter. For such a small table, it wasn’t being cleared of dishes no longer in use. While observing other tables, they were being attended to and served a lot quicker than we were. By the time main entrees came, we were ready to go because by that time we had been there 2 hrs. The food overall wasn’t as good as I remembered. The reason for going out to eat was to get a break from holiday cooking and to enjoy our time. Unfortunately, this wasn’t an enjoyable experience and has me considering cooking next Christmas.
