We had high hopes for MIX Prime Steakhouse and Fish, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the service was attentive, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The restaurant was quite loud, which made conversation difficult. To make matters worse, our booth shook repeatedly because the guest behind us kept tapping her feet—something we wouldn’t expect at a fine dining establishment. As for the food, we ordered the surf and turf, which was cooked to medium well as requested but turned out dry and underwhelming. The “surf” consisted of two small lobster claws and some knuckle meat, a disappointingly sparse portion that did not match the premium price. Despite having a reservation at a specific time, we were asked to wait at the bar for 30 minutes before being seated. This delay further detracted from what we had hoped would be a polished and seamless experience. Overall, MIX Prime didn’t meet the level of quality and atmosphere we associate with fine dining steakhouses. While the attentive service was a bright spot, we left disappointed and unlikely to return.

We celebrated my mom's birthday and not only was the food delicious as always but our server went above and beyond to make her feel special. Thank you!

My sister ordered filet mignon — medium. They brought it to the table — medium rare. She asked the server to have it cooked a little longer and he told her “the plate would cook it”. What?!! What does that even mean?!! He reluctantly, and rudely, took it from her without saying a word and brought it back to the kitchen. When he brought it back to the table, it was cooked medium as requested, and enjoyed.

The steak was cooked to perfection. I had the 14oz filet and it was outstanding. There was no need for any sauce etc….

I hoped the experience for a birthday for a party of two would have been provided not at a bar table, the noise so very loud we had to text each other to converse. I pointed to the items on the menu after 3 many attempts for the waiter to understand and crowd was way too many stsnding in the aisle and staff could not pass, just not a great spot for intimate party of 2 for a personal birthday dinner. I was truly impressed when I announced my name the hostess said ah yes for the birthday. thank you

Very busy. To loud to hear the waiter. To loud to talk conversation with companion. To small a table for 2. Not a relaxing evening. For all the service staff they still weren’t very attentive. Saturday was too much, go during the week. Costly overall over a $100 per person for dinner and we didn’t stay for dessert or coffee.

We showed up for our reservation and were told the only table they had was a booth in the bar area where a large party was being set up. It was already loud in there and none of the guests had even showed up yet. We left without being seated since they did not have a table in the separate dining area. My husband is hearing impaired and has a difficult time when there is a lot of background noise. We were not about to spend $300 and not be able to talk to each other. This was a first and our last time visiting this restaurant.
