A local favorite, Miyo’s Restaurant has served the Hilo area since 1987. Under the direction of it's owner, Louis Pauole, Miyo's Restaurant serves up homestyle Japanese food using quality ingredients and it's beloved recipes created by Miyo herself!

Come and enjoy entrees such as Hot Pots, Curry, Teriyaki, Tempura, Seafood and much more! While you're awaiting your delicious meal, you can also sip on a handcrafted cocktail made by our talented bartenders from our Izakaya Bar - Hilo's newest hot spot!     We were seated promptly. Our order was taken shortly after seating. I was pleasantly surprised that our food came out quite quickly. I was expecting a long wait like we usually experience. Our server was excellent and personable.

    One of the best restaurants in Hilo. Itʻs consistently great. I have never had a bad experience here. Service is always attentive and food comes out fairly quickly for how busy it usually is. We also love that they stock the local Topical Dream ice cream flavors. They also include some really good local ingredients in the menu, like the Hamakua mushrooms, which are always great! We've gone there for celebrations as well as casual dinners. It really is a staple Hilo restaurant.

    If you are hoping for a fine dining restaurant this isn’t for you. However, the food and service were good. We really enjoyed the sizzling mushrooms, Teriyaki steak and the dumplings.

    First time I’ve been back in years. Nice atmosphere, great food selections with gluten free options which were great. Highly recommend Miyo’s.

    Accommodating! I booked for outside and wanted a cocktail. They moved us inside to accommodate our requests on the busiest of nights!

    The food is fantastic, good value for Hawaii. The rice bowls are the way to go, deserts are amazing. The fries are a must order.

    Was good. Food was great, but drinks were messed up royally. Apologies for not saying it, but didn't realize until we left that both my drink and wife's were completely wrong. Ordered the mai tai and got a margarita. Wife ordered a martini with a twist and got a lemon drop. Had fun regardless.
