We were group of 8 and We had reservation and we had to wait about 1/2 hour to get the table. There were other group of 6 people that didn’t have reservation and they were seated before us. We were disappointed, We understand we went during busy season but reservations should be handle more seriously and should be more organized .The food was good and the waitress service was good.

Made reservations through open table and even received a message to confirm our reservation the day prior, which I did. When we arrived with our party of 4, which included small children, at our reservation time the waiting area was packed and a group of 4 was waiting before us to check in at the host stand. The group of 4 was seated immediately. When the host came back and I said we were there for our reservation he said the manager shut reservations down 2 hours ago. The restaurant no longer takes them and we would have a wait. I calmly said that I planned ahead for this because I knew what the crowds would be like with small children and we chose this restaurant solely for that. I wasn't contacted and informed that our reservation was no longer which wasn't right. He rudely said they had 173 reservations and couldn't keep up, so I could jump in front of all the other people waiting; implying how rude that would be. I said you just sat a table of 4 immediately which could have been our reservation. He then found us a table but was extremely rude and acted like we were the problem for making reservations. I went and checked their website and it still is open to make reservations. The food was decent enough; they were out of many items on the menu that we ordered, but not a bid deal. Our server was super friendly. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting though. Toilets were gross and the trashcan is way to small (only about knee height) so paper towels were overflowing all over the floor. The way the host treated us was completely uncalled for and if that is so that reservations were shut down we should have been notified.We would normally have just left and went somewhere else but with our small children we know our limits with wait times.

Our server was amazing. Food was good for sit down. Definitely try the whole hog. Best bang for your buck

We loved it! Sat outside and enjoyed the old time views while eating entirely too much delicious bbq. 10/10, wouldn’t change a thing

Although the establishment offers delicious cuisine, I must express my concerns regarding the cleanliness of the premises. The seats, restrooms, and floors were in a state of disrepair, covered in dust and emitting an unpleasant odor. While the quality of the food is commendable, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. Additionally, the staff could benefit from enhanced professionalism and improved customer service skills. Until significant improvements are made to address these issues, I regret that I cannot return to this establishment. I kindly request that the pervasive dust issue be promptly resolved to ensure a more favorable customer experience.

BBQ....we had ribs, spare ribs 18 bucks for 5 med sized ribs plus both of us had a rib end which counts for 1/2 rib. 36 bucks for 10 med ribs... smoked rib had a strange flavor maybe they use Oak... don’t know. The sauces were not good none of them. I eat ribs once a week from restaurants and mainly my own, smoked with hickory which is my favorite the sauce is my own and will use a hybrid.. the rib is my own also... I would rate this a 6 for smoked rib and a 1 for sauce and 1 for amount of food. 18 to 20 should be a rack... but... maybe use baby backs... The spare ribs had hard gristle chunks... not so good... Overall a 1 rating...

Our family enjoyed this very busy restaurant. The place was so busy and the staff was still able to attend to everyone as best as they could. The food was great. I ordered a blackened salmon with a side salad and mashed potatoes, my husband and mother in law ordered the pit chicken. Everyone really enjoyed the food but again expect to wait. It is a very busy place because the food is great and it accommodates large parties. I definitely recommend this restaurant and would eat here again.

The food just wasn’t good. My wife ordered a wedge salad and it was served with a ridiculous amount of ranch dressing, which made it inedible. The waiter voluntarily removed from our bill. I ordered the Texas hot sausage and they were the greasiest sausages I ever ate. Other people in our party had brisket and it was tough and fatty. The waiter was very friendly and competent. I would not recommend this restaurant.
