The food was very good. We ordered chicken Momos, hakka noodles, chicken lollipops and chicken biriani. All the food tasted delicious but the biriani was outstanding. The only thing which would have been nice is some Indian music. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant.

It was a first time at moksha and celebrating a birthday and they did not disappoint at all. Excellent service and food was outstanding. The cocktails are very well made and the food comes piping hot and is outstanding. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it as it’s great value as well.

Absolutely awesome. Everything from being greeted, to service, food was fantastic, gorgeous cocktails. Really enjoyed the whole experience and looking forward to booking again

Firstly, when I booked the table, was advertised ‘live music. When we got to the restaurant, we were taken upstairs, where a ‘youtube playlist’ was on. In an Indian restaurant, on a valentine’s dinner, I was listening to Justin Bieber, etc. To add on it, the volume was extremely high, and we could barely listen to each other when talking. Then the food was not the best. All dishes very basic flavoured, and the quantity (?), £15 a dish where 4 pieces of lamb and 4 prawns did come in the middle of a ‘swimming pool’ of sauce. Luckily we did order naan bread, otherwise, we would have to go to the next doors kebab shop. The service was poor and on a quick pace, with no one engaging with customers or asking about how the food was. Definitely not going again.

Food was absolutely lovely however the service needs working on. It took 40 minutes for someone to take our order and twice we had to ask for the bill before going to pay on our way out as didn't want to wait any longer. A couple next to us were seated after us and had ordered and eaten their food and left before we had even been served our starters.

Waited at least 30 minutes to asked for drinks order and another hour for the food order to be taken and 2 hours of sitting there the main appeared on the table. Chicken lollipop starter was raw and the chicken in the curry was also raw in places and had disgusting black bits throughout. Returned food as indelible. Wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend had an awful experience.

Our team worked hard to resolve it and serve all guests despite the challenges on what was an extremely busy night. Regarding the chicken curry, we use high-quality thigh meat, which is naturally darker and more tender. The black bits you mentioned are part of the meat and not a sign of being undercooked. We follow strict H&S guidelines, ensuring all chicken is cooked to safe standards. While it may not have suited your preference, we assure you it was fully cooked.
