Amazing across the board—by far the best Italian restaurant we’ve eaten at in Orange County. The atmosphere and food were authentic, and the service was attentive and exceptional. I was especially impressed by the Beef Tartare, the Carbonara from the specials menu, and the Cacio e Pepe. When we dug into the Cacio e Pepe—a dish typically known for its simplicity and subtlety—we immediately knew this was a great Italian restaurant. We finished the evening with the Tiramisu and the Nutella Bread Pudding, both of which were outstanding. Our server, Leonardo, provided service that was second to none. He anticipated our needs perfectly and shared that Molo is a family-owned restaurant, with many of the staff connected to one another—a huge plus in our book. It’s always wonderful to support a family-owned business! We can’t wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu.

this was probably the best food. I've had a really good time. I went for a late Valentine's Day with my wife. The filet mignon medium rare was cooked perfect. The mushrooms on the side were so good as well. The Parmesan and pepper pasta was very good. Entrées we had were good as well. Overall, everything was great. I would definitely go back for a nice evening.

I was able to make a reservation the same day thankfully. The restaurant was way bigger than I expected and i love the dim lighting and vibe. The food was so delicious best pasta I have ever had. Will come back again.

We had the best time celebrating a friends milestone here! The waiter was super nice and helpful for a group of 7. We also loved the cheese guy and he made us a delicious table side dessert. I will be back!

We have been to Molo about 8 times in the past six months. The food and service is consistently terrific. The menu has a nice variety to choose from. Pastas, fish, and chicken dishes are all flavorful and well done. The waiters/waitresses are all super friendly and attentive. I look forward to dining there again!

Too loud. Too many rich drunk white women. Too many entitled people. But its newport beach. What do you expect.

We will be returning when in the area. The service, food and atmosphere could not have been better. One of our party of three was delayed due to the severe weather conditions and the wait was not uncomfortable as the owner and our server were very accommodating. We shared a great conversation about food and the quest for good tasting ingredients. My broccolini was cooked to perfection, the Caesar was just like they just picked it for the meal. My wife's Gnocchi shrimp was melt in her mouth delicious. Our guests Penne Vodka with sausage was as good as any you will find outside of Italy. What more can one say other than this gem of a restaurant is well worth the drive to experience yourself.

They don’t seem to honor reservations; when you get there your name is just added to a list and we had to wait at least 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated. Pasta special (oxtail ragu) was very good and meatballs were good.

It’s a very loud venue with expensive pasta. Our server was kind but in general, service is quite slow. Lots of people heard complaining.
