   Good food, service let it down especially for somewhere relatively expensive. Nice decor and atmosphere.

   Moma was an unknown quantity but now is a 'must' when visiting Haslemere. From the moment we opened the door we knew we had made the right choice and it just got better as the evening went on ...

   Our first visit to Moma and we will definitely be back. Lovely, friendly staff. Delicious food. Great atmosphere.

   The Cocktails were disappointing, The alcohol content in both was low . The Martini very disappointing with the Express Martini looking good but poor in taste. Octopus starter and beef starters excellent. Lobster dish average with more other ingredients than lobster and not great value. Good broccoli sides and main fish dishes. Tiramisu v disappointing, dry and probably brought in.

   Disappointing food compared to our first visit. The food was very bland. A pity because we thought we’d be returning regularly.

   The lighting is very nice but it is very noisy as there are no soft furnishings to dampen the sound. The upholstered bench seats look comfortable but are at right angles so don’t fit your back - cushions would help. The first course which was duck with watermelon had nice ingredients but the duck was cold, hard and almost too tough to chew. Very uninspiring. The main course was nice - belly pork but no crackling and incredibly strong garlic in the cabbage. Choice of puddings was uninspiring so we had mango ice cream which was nice but just ice cream. Certainly not fine dining and generally rather disappointing

   Absolutely fantastic evening at Moma. 3 of us had a wonderful meal for our friends birthday. A real gem of a restaurant. Everything from the food to the staff is outstanding.

    Starter and Main good - Dishes looked inviting and we’re tasty. Red Snapper was excellent. Desert choices poor. Chose Poached Pears - disappointing. Over cooked and sliced rather than whole . Cheese platter also disappointing. No local cheeses - included goats cheese, Stilton , Cheddar. Had too ask for more biscuits which were also uninspiring. Service a little clumsy. The wine was spilt by the waitress as it was being poured and the napkin used to mop the wine up was left on the table . There was no offer to replace the bottle for a full one. Sat upstairs near the bar because downstairs the acoustics ( previous visit ) are uncomfortable. Could hear each other clearly even when the tables filled upstairs. I would hope that the main menu would be changed a little more often. I think this restaurant could be really good. It just needs a little more thought and care.
