We waited for a server to come to our table, but no one came. One of our party had to go and ask the hostess to have a waiter come to our table. Once we finally received our first course we realized that the 4+ star rating for this restaurant is not deserved. My mushroom pie was mediocre at best. The filling was rather watery and the mushrooms were tough. One of our group ordered one of the curries and it did not come with anything but the meat - they charge extra for rice! Then we decided to try dessert. We ordered two desserts but only one came out, and we had to again go searching for someone to bring the other dessert. When that dessert finally arrived we had another unpleasant surprise - it contained a sharp piece of plastic. They comped both desserts and suddenly were very attentive - asking if there was anything else they could get us. We were really hoping to have found a good British restaurant, but sadly this is not it. Do not come here if you want good food or good service.

Painfully slow service in an almost empty dining room. Butternut squash soup was actually cream of mushroom and served lukewarm. Kids chicken tenders were pink ( medium rare ) but we couldn’t track down our server - daughter ended up eating 1/2 of my lunch. Poor overall value

This is a beautiful restaurant. I live in the neighborhood and would love to have a place like this to frequent regularly. But, even if well done, its appeal is limited. The menu is odd and has limited appeal unless you have a specific hankering for British/Indian food as they interpret it. Tonight we waited between 10 - 15 minutes for a waiter to show up after being seated. I ordered a Chardonnay and another 5 minutes passed before our waiter returned to tell us they were out of Chardonnay. I asked about the beers, which he rattled off and then the one I ordered was also out of stock. It seems this place may be going out of business given the shortage of the most basic items. The food was mediocre, but serviceable. As a local, I would love to see a restaurant along the lines of Nora (on St. Claire between Ontario and Erie) which serves a delicious menu, well done, that has more universal appeal.

We came here for a pit stop prior to our hotpot dinner. Chili cheese naan is the best I’ve had in Chicago. Wifey highly recommended the Turmeric G&T, I preferred Old Fashioned > Manhattan. London Pride is a good option if you missing the UK vibe.

We loved it ! The food was super tasty n they didn’t add to much seasoning like other places do so we thought it was super healthy. The fish n chips are so wonderful

beautiful restaurant. food was delicious. a nice split of london pub food and indian food. had the lamb pie, garlic nann. also the best grilled cesar salad anywhere. food was a little spicy. loved it and can't wait to go back

great service, wonderful drinks. ribeye was very good, chilli naan and chips and monarch chicken were all tasting great
