Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! My go-to spot for great food, boozy drinks, and amazing vibes whenever I am in Waikiki. Live musicians are talented and the views are immaculate. This place is special.

                                                                                                                  I felt as though I hadn’t had such excellent service in a while, so this was very refreshing. Our waitress, Allison, made the night perfect! We were celebrating my boyfriend’s 21st birthday, and she even paid for his first beer!! She was very kind, patient, and detailed. Overall, amazing experience!

They’ve ruined me for any other drink anywhere. Sitting by the ocean was dreamy, plus live music? It was magical. It went during happy hour for four dollars off cocktails and had a $15 pizza. One of our favorite stops!

                                                                                                                  We love visiting a Monkey Pod when we see one. This was my first time at the Waikiki location and it was just as great. Service was good everyone was very friendly. My boyfriend who visits often says they always have the best singer playing live music no matter what night it is. We asked about a military discount since we like to keep track of who has them and they gave him 10% off which was really appreciated. You have to try the Mai Tai, it blows all the others out of the water. And i love the macadamia nut mahi, never disappoints here.

I had the Mai tai and the ahi tuna and I can report it exceeded my expectations!! I will come back when I come to Waikiki next

To start with, the Poke tacos are my absolute favorite. Second favorite is the lobster deviled eggs. Main course favorites are the seared ahi and the macadamia crusted fish. However, you can’t go wrong with anything on their menu!!
