Nationally Acclaimed Barbecue Restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Cincinnati. Our world-famous ribs, our friendly service, and our striking view of the Ohio River, makes us a unique restaurant that you and your friends & family will remember long after your meal is over.

Sports fans will love the upstairs sports lounge with sports memorabilia on the walls, as well as the autographed photos of famous visitors who have dropped by. So come on in and get yourself some ribs and watch your favorite team in a fun, classy atmosphere.

Our world-famous ribs are definitely a hard act to follow but we found a way. For dessert, indulge in another Cincinnati culinary tradition: Graeter's black raspberry chip ice cream.

We offer both self-service & full-service catering options to meet almost any need. Self-Service provides disposable serving-ware, bibs (yes, bibs) and wet naps for both delivery or pick-up. Our Full-Service team arrives approximately 45 minutes prior to your scheduled time. We provide buffet tables, linens, chafing dishes and sterno. We will serve your guests buffet-style and provide general clean up after the meal. Catering service is available in Greater Cincinnati and N. Ky areas

Family was visiting from Florida and wanted to eat someplace uniquely Cincinnati. Naturally, I chose my usual go-to place, The Boathouse -incredible food, wonderful view of the river, great service.

On Saturday, August 31, my husband, friend and I dined at the Boathouse. My husband and I had ribs; I added shrimp and my friend had a pulled pork sandwich. She added the twice baked potato soup and said it was amazing. The food was delicious but the service was just good. Amy, forgot to give us bibs and wet naps until I asked for them. Overall it was a good experience.

I tend to use this restaurant when I have visitors from outside of Cincinnati because they have been satisfied with this restaurant so far.

Seated right away with reservations, we were a party of 5 service was great , food arrived in timely matter , brisket was wonderful, highly recommend, thank you for a great evening .

This was my husbands favorite place growing up. We had a large party, our server was exceptional. I ordered a filet that my husband and I would share with our ribs. The sauce had a skin on it. I asked for the steak medium, it was over cooked, and not tender at all. For $37 I would expect the steak to at least be be cooked properly. The ribs were good though.

This was a gift dinner to my parents and they thoroughly enjoyed the occasion, food and atmosphere. They enjoyed watching the traffic on the river, as well. Our server Sarah, was perfect.
