   We went to the Moot House to have the corned beef and cabbage. It was fabulous. The beef was juicy and not at all dry, the cabbage was tender, but not mush, and the mustard cream was yummy.

   Our server, a guy, can’t remember his name, was exceptional. Food was very good. Music was too loud but he turned it down for us.

   Went on a Sunday looking for Prime Rib - - only served Thurs-Sat. Ordered rib eye steak instead - - cooked perfectly but not the most tender I've enjoyed. Spouse had Sea Bass which was excellent. Aside from no Prime Rib and the very average Rib Eye, we enjoyed our time.

   Like most if the wait staff, Kelly was great. Food is always consistent and reasonably priced.

   My wife and I always enjoy the Moot House. Wonderful atmosphere, delightful serving staff and great food. One of our favorite restaurants for dining out. Thank You! -Tony & Janet Seahorn

   Typically in the past we’ve had very good experiences here. This visit the place was packed and so the noise level was a bit higher than we are accustomed to. However the food disappointed on this visit. The French onion soup is normally extremely good however all four of us thought it was much too salty. It seemed as though the salt had been measured and added twice.  On a minor note our server did not know what marble rye bread is when inquired if it could be the toast accompanying a salad. One of us ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was dry, overcooked and lacking flavor. My friend expected freshly shaved prime rib stacked on the sandwich and instead it appeared as though it had been roughly cut off and put back on the grill which killed the flavor and texture. Since we like this establishment and have had good experiences in the past we will give it another try but if the trend is going downward we might have to rethink that going forward.

   This was the exact cozy spot we were looking for! The food and drinks are great, we will be coming back regularly.
