Morimoto Asia is Chef Masaharu Morimoto first pan-Asian restaurant. The creativity of Chef Morimoto is already one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine. This culinary destination includes unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. The second-level sushi bar and lounge have a separate entrance.

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing at Disney Springs, an entertainment-dining-retail district. With an overhaul and re-branding of this portion of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs will present a fresh and new face to the magical kingdom that is sure to be an extraordinary experience.

My favorite restaurant but tonight they failed. Server was slow and told us he had things he had to do before bringing us anything and everybody got their meal and was done before my (already cooked) duck still didn’t come out and I had to cancel my order and just eat off everybody else’s plate. I’ve been here many times and it is hands-down a fantastic restaurant but tonight the server totally F’d up.

Service was TERRIBLE. Sat with empty drinks, waited 30 minutes for food after appetizers. We had to track down our waiter, asking two other servers to find him. Finally brought our entrees out and they were cold. We had a 4:45pm reservation, waited 20 minutes to be seated and the place was empty. We left the restaurant at 7pm, everyone was excited to finally leave. It was an expensive dinner for such a terrible dining experience.

We have been Morimoto Asia regulars for a few years and had the BEST experience tonight! We leave it to our server Jesus who took our experience to the next level! He was funny, kind, and made sure we left with a smile on our faces. If you come to this restaurant be sure to request Jesus as your server! Food and drinks per usual were 5 stars! Look forward to many more visits ⭐️
