Morimoto Asia is Chef Masaharu Morimoto first pan-Asian restaurant. The creativity of Chef Morimoto is already one of the most inventive forces in Asian cuisine. This culinary destination includes unique exhibition kitchens that showcase traditions like Peking duck carving and dim sum. Morimoto Asia’s eye-catching, 36-foot tall, two-story layout includes lounges, private dining spaces, and an exhibition glass encased kitchen that allows guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the culinary action. The second-level sushi bar and lounge have a separate entrance.

Morimoto Asia is located at The Landing at Disney Springs, an entertainment-dining-retail district. With an overhaul and re-branding of this portion of Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Springs will present a fresh and new face to the magical kingdom that is sure to be an extraordinary experience.

This experience at Morimoto was a complete turnaround from the previous time we dined there when it was disappointing. Our server, Ken came over to the table immediately and sensed we were in no hurry. He let us order a glass of wine and then took our order in a business like manner. The food was served at approximately the same time (stroke of luck at Morimoto) and was properly cooked and delicious. He even apologized for thinking he had closed out our bill when it hadn’t been but it was really no inconvenience. A much better time than the last dining experience.

We’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and we’re finally able to go for my fathers birthday. It was amazing! Each dish was incredible. Don’t skip the ribs because that was absolutely AMAZING. The duck was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going back.

This may have been a Michelin restaurant years ago but no more. No passion, no attention to detail, just an average, run-of-the-mill restaurant you’d find in any city. Overall restaurant cleanliness (washrooms especially), hospitality service and food taste/quality all mediocre. Really wanted to love this space but they missed the mark on every aspect of what’s necessary to be premium.

The experience was great capping off the Disney Springs experience. The food was good as well as the ambiance but most of all, Brandon our server was very accommodating and vert knowledgeable about the menu and the other things/restaurants around the Morimoto.
