Went for NYE - no pre-fixe menu, but extremely busy. Service was excellent even though it took a bit longer than normal given volume. Appetizers and sides were very good, as were the wine and cocktails. Ordered a 14 oz. Ribeye Medium Rare that was cooked Medium Well. Overall there are much better steakhouses for your $$ in the city but I give them a pass given it was NYE

Excellent food and service in a really lovely setting. Staff are proficient and friendly, where even first time visitors are treated like valued regulars. Great cocktails. Food is delicious with generous portions. Was a fabulous location close to NYE fireworks.

Have been there many times and food was always great. Maybe because it was New Years Eve and very busy but was disappointing as far as food taste and quality this time around. Onion soup was bland with very little taste and filet was good quality of meat but lacked the usual flavoring.

We had high expectations coming in as we had never dined at Morton's before. The room was filled and vibrant - which made us want to join in. However, we were put in a side room that looked to be a converted storage room and, and felt removed from the vibrancy we wanted. Service was a bit slow, although the server was pleasant enough. The sommelier was top notch with a great Cabernet Sauvignon recommendation. Most of the food that we ordered was at least very good, although the sides to each of our steaks were disappointing. While our ribeyes tasted great, the cuts were not the quality we would have expected for the price. Net - we felt a bit disappointed in our seating allotment, slow service and value for the food. Not sure we will be back soon.

I waited close to 45 minutes to be seated but it was Christmas Day and the place was packed so no faults there. I lucked out and got seated at a table for four in a private dining room. Even though the bar tender forgot to affix a piece of sirloin to my State Street Manhattan, the drink was still great. Overall, the food and service was excellent as always given the circumstances.

Very busy Christmas Eve! We have been going for many years. The food was delicious we love that they expanded their sides. The green beans and scalloped potatoes were a hit! Our service was a tad slow both at the bar and at the table but we relaxed and had a good time. Steaks were yummy as always!!
