Mi sono recato da Morton’s in occasione della mia luna di miele, specificandolo al momento della prenotazione. L’accoglienza è stata piuttosto fredda e il servizio sbrigativo. Il cibo ci è piaciuto ma da segnalare una grave pecca nel servizio: nel conto è stata sottolineata a penna la percentuale di mancia suggerita, nonostante fosse già chiaramente indicata nella stampa. L’abbiamo trovato un gesto veramente maleducato, dettato probabilmente dal nostro accento italiano. In tre settimane negli Stati Uniti, in cui abbiamo avuto la possibilità di relazionarci con ogni livello di ristorazione, comprese altre steak-house della stessa fascia di prezzo, non ci era mai successa una cosa del genere. Conto salato ma coerente con i prezzi della tipologia del ristorante.

Although there was a snafu, the manager contacted me the very next day to inquire about it and to make up for it. Now that’s service! The food was excellent and, overall, service was, too. I will definitely return. Excellent steaks!

Service was just a tad stretched thin but it was Christmas Day and it was busy. Overall very good.

Decided to have our 1st Christmas dinner out to celebrate our son and his new wife 1st Christmas as a married couple. Always enjoy our dinner at Mortens, place was busier than we expected but we were seated right away and enjoyed ourselves.

Our recent visit was a mixed bag . Greeting The host team was warm and welcoming, and we were sat immediately. Food The food was tasty overall, we opted for the Chateaubriand 3 course special. The steak, green beans, and au gratin potatoes were delicious. But the creamed spinach had zero flavor and the crab cakes were tiny and burnt . We got the sundae and carrot cake for dessert, and they were delicious and enormous. Service Our server was okay. She was attentive and friendly during the meal. However, she pulled one over on us and misled us about the Landry's Select Club. When she dropped our bill, she told us we should sign up because we would get X dollars back because of our total bill. We assumed that, like most places, it was free to sign up and said, "Sure." However, when reviewing my receipt to register my account when I got home, I noticed that there was actually $25 membership fee that she did not mention when selling us on the club, intentionally leaving out there was a sign on fee. Bar We moved to the bar after our meal for a cocktail. Hannah was great and friendly. However, her co-bartender was rude and completely unprofessional. Frantically moving about the bar, yelling at everyone that "they need to be patient, they're understaffed," and aggressively telling families that they can't sit at the bar because they had a minor with them. I understand it's a law, but I shouldn't hear your conversation from across the bar and a simple "I'm sorry they can't sit here," would have done the job just fine. But her delivery was rude and dismissive. Management One of the managers/sommeliers working was either very unhappy to be working on Christmas or homophobic. We had multiple interactions with him and he was rude every time, making us feel like we were inconveniencing him during every interaction we had. Overall. The food was great and the host team was a good first impression, but it all went downhill after that.
