    We had a disappointing experience at Morton’s on Christmas Day. Our original waitress was aloof and dismissive, taking 30 minutes to return to our table to take our order, despite the restaurant being far from full. During her absence, we had to flag down another waiter to bring water, cocktails, and take our meal order. When the original waitress returned, she incorrectly claimed my cocktail was sold out, only for it to arrive moments later with a comment that I must have gotten the last one, which wasn’t true as I ordered more throughout the night. It was clear she didn’t want to serve us, and she eventually asked if we’d prefer a different waiter. We agreed to continue with the waiter we flagged down to avoid further delays. While he provided better service, several menu items were sold out, and we weren’t informed until after placing our order, which was very disappointing. Overall, the experience was far below what I expect from Morton’s, especially for a special holiday dinner.

    Both our food and the service were excellent. I would recommend Morton’s San Jose - enjoyed it better than dining at other well known steakhouses.

    Christmas dinner. Food was good, service was not attentive nor friendly. Music noise was very loud. On the second try we got a kind employee to turn it off. Not a warm, fuzzy environment

    Service was great, sides were great but for a steak house my NY strip was definitely subpar. Was surprised the find a large piece of grizzle in my steak. Wasn’t worth the price for the quality of steak I had.

    Once again, our visit to Morton’s was excellent with great food and service. Starting with bacon-wrapped scallops and French onion soup to go with a lemon drop and world of single malts. The prime New York and Ribeye steaks were cooked perfectly medium rare accompanied with delicious spinach with button mushrooms and smoked Gouda with bacon au gratin. Finishing with key lime pie was perfect for our holiday meal.

    OT is asking me to review. We made a reservation and they closed early. We didn’t have the opportunity to receive service. On a Saturday night… when the sharks are playing, Mortons should make sure their paid employees provide service and stay open for business.

    Hailey was our server. She was great. Gave lots of food recommendations and very insightful. Hope everyone can get yourself a ‘Hailey’ when you come here. Food was great, a little salty buti think it was just an accumulation of everything on our plate. Prime rib is bomb. Dont skip out on it.
