The food was delicious and innovative, with a kitchen staff that clearly loves what they do. However, the service was exclusionary. The hostesses were amazing, but the bartender, who was also our initial waiter, was frequently busy, and upper management had to step in as our server. Unfortunately, they participated in ignoring us, along with the rest of the staff. Despite our reservation mentioning a birthday, we didn’t receive the same attention as the neighboring table, who had birthday candles on the same dessert we ordered. We had to constantly advocate for ourselves. The service felt dismissive and biased, and while the kitchen staff and hosts were kind, the overall experience wasn’t worth returning for, especially for $60-100 per person for lunch.

Best Peking duck I have ever eaten. So tender. The pancakes were razor thin and also delicious. Loved the decor and vibe. Highly recommend.

We have dined at the Las Vegas location multiple times and loved it, so much so that we thought to try this location. The special lobster siu mai with quail egg was spectacular, but unfortunately, the rest of the food, like the crab fried rice and the green beans which are staples fell pretty flat. Our takeaway was that the flavors were lackluster and both dishes needed salt for some reason. It was just really odd because we love the same dishes in Vegas. Not sure if they cater to a more ‘European’ vs. Asian pallet at this location, but everything besides the dumplings tasted pretty flat.

Everything was great - service was very attentive. Superb vegetarian/vegan options. This will definitely be a go-to for me while visiting in Vancouver or when I'm back home in TO.
