Moxies restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxies St. John’s is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown, a short 10-minute drive from the St. John’s International Airport, and near the Memorial University and Health Sciences Centre. Our menu is developed by Executive Chef, Brandon Thordarson and has dishes for brunch, lunch, and dinner! We dined at Moxies Kenmount Rd December 18. Server was friendly, mannerly and prompt. The kitchen had no mushrooms and ribs were low. A member in my party had to change his order and decided on the fish. It was terrible, definitely not fresh and double dipped. I would not recommend. The chicken Zen bowl was delicious though. Having dined there in the past, we find the music too loud. It needs to be turned down and possibly a playlist that’s generic to help accommodate all people.

Great night out with coworkers, food was good for most people. But the 2 issues were dealt with quickly and kindly. The only complaint we had was the live music. There was a man playing guitar and singing and the volume was really loud, our party couldn’t even converse-especially the hard of hearing people in our group. Maybe live music should be only in the bar and not on the overhead speaker.

Fabulous evening at Moxies! There is a group of 6-8 of us who gather quarterly for a catch up supper at Moxies. We have been doing this for years. Service has always been great and they generally accommodate us in their private room, which is very much appreciated! This time we were treated with complimentary prosecco! What a lovely treat to be acknowledged for our long time business. Kody was a fabulous server…..very pleasant, not intrusive, but always there when we needed something. Food was great! Always look forward to our evenings at Moxies!

The experience was overall positive but we sat at the table far too long without even being offered water or anyone tending our table. A pet peeve of mine. The food was prepared properly (steak doneness) and tasted excellent and service was fine once it started.
