Food was disappointing. For $25.50 a Cobb salad with iceberg lettuce - you can do better. Also, the Thai chicken salad had 4 small pieces of chicken. Flavours were okay but not making me want to return.

This is a great spot if you’re looking for louder music, and maybe an after work quick drink. Do not recommend for a date night, or if you’re in a rush.

Ordered the full rack of ribs. When the food arrived it was barely warm. The meat in the ribs was tough and the taste was like eating at a cheap family restaurant. I think these were already cooked frozen and then heated up when the orders are place. The kind you buy in the grocery stores in the freezer section. The server was nice but was run off her feet. Did complain to the server at the end of the meal, lots of the food was left on the plate. The restaurant did not offer any break on the price and not even an offer to pay for our dessert. No manager came over to see what was wrong. Not a great experience. Will look for somewhere else to go when downtown to see an event.

With the website stating midnight closing, we had to rush through the menu at 10:45 pm. I’d take Earls Yorkville well over this site.

Nice place, very loud! Wish they had an automatic door operator device at the entrance. Door is far to heavy plus I had box to carry in.

Thursday November 28 - we were looking forward to a return visit to Moxie's on University Ave in Toronto. Previous visits have been very enjoyable - this visit was not. Food was quite good, arrived promptly an was tasty & hot. Unfortunately my wife's main course arrived 30 seconds after her soup which was not great - a mix-up in the kitchen we were told.. Service overall was excellent - Leanne did a great job looking after us despite trying circumstances. The issue was the noise level in the restaurant. This is not a quiet restaurant when it is busy but the noise level November 28th was extreme. There was a private event underway that had taken over a large area in the restaurant and they were LOUD! It made it next to impossible to talk to the person serving us. We could not carry on a conversation. Every table around us was shouting to talk to those at their table. It was a less than enjoyable experience even with very good service (under the circumstances) and good food. We appreciate restaurants need to cater to all customers & all want to get in on the lucrative holiday season/event catering business. Perhaps a heads-up to those who may be impacted by events being catered to in the main restaurant so other customers can make an informed decision about their plans.

A tad loud but the place was nearly full - for good reason. The food and service was great. We were really happy with our dishes and our server was excellent. Had a great time. Would go back.
