Mozambique brings a taste of Southern Africa’s coastal cuisine to Laguna Beach. Enjoy wood-fired steaks fresh seafood, and chicken with ocean views and Live Entertainment!

PLEASE NOTE: SEATING AREA IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY
Reservations will guarantee a table in our restaurant, but NO SPECIFIC AREA will be guaranteed with a reservation. Please expect an additional wait for Rooftop Seating, Live Music, and other high demand areas.     The food was incredible, the service was great, and it was a fantastic way to spend Christmas Eve. We had everything from the lobster Mac and cheese to the burger and steak, and even the charcuterie board. And guess what? Our two kids loved it too! Thank you, Mozambique, for being open on Christmas Eve!

    Our server Jorge was so amazing and very attentive. He also gave us recommendations of local places in the area to also check after our dinner.

    Always a great experience in a unique vibe. We stay for the music and dancing. Reggae night. Great food. It’s a must in Laguna Beach

    Almost forced to sit outside. Cold outside. Not enough heaters. We were seated in a corner area. An area that was not near main area. Got seated right away. Was 30+ minutes before we were offers drinks even after complaining to hostess twice. Never knew who our waitress or waiter was. After complaints, it looked like we were being helped by someone at the bar. When we were finished, it was another long wait to get a check. We were in an area where no one could see us or notice we were even there. As expected, food was cold when we got served. I go to many restaurants, and this one just didn't measure up. Very disappointed.

    Always a treat - roof top Is a must ! The Sea Bass is Devine and it’s also a great place for breakfast.

    Dining downstairs at Mozambique meant missing out on the full visual experience, but the food was exceptional. To maximize enjoyment, exploring all 3 floors is a must. They even welcomed our two small dogs, enhancing our experience. 4/5 stars for great food and pet-friendly hospitality, despite the limited view.
