Opened in 1979 by world famous restaurateur Michael Chow. MR CHOW started in London in 1968 and continues to enjoy generations of devoted clients from art, fashion, music, and entertainment. Recently awarded the 5 Star Diamond Award by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences for its excellence, service, and cuisine this restaurant described by Givenchy as a "Precious Jewel Box" is one of the most beautiful restaurants in New York City serving high Chinese Cuisine with impeccable service.
The menu at MR CHOW is a combination of old authentic Beijing, Original Recipes, and the signature dishes such as Chicken Satay, MR CHOW Noodles, and Ma Mignon. MR CHOW also serves one of the best Beijing Ducks in the world.
The famous nightly handmade noodle show is presented in every location since the opening of London in 1968.

I’ve been a customer Mr Chows forever and I haven’t been there in a while and last night but could not disappoint. It was delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

This is definitely overpriced and overrated. The food was only warm not hot so went cold really quickly. We wasn’t impressed with this place and as we eat in top restaurants around the world we would never return here. We were unhappy with our meal with only 2 coffees and water and a cost of $540 for 4 people it was way overpriced. As a result of us feeling unhappy we decided to not give a tip and was rudely questioned by a waiter several times that we had not left a tip. We wasn’t asked once if everything was ok. So when we told them it was not hot and we wasn’t happy they got extremely rude.

I had a party of 6 . The atmosphere was not as trendy as I was hoping for like other venues I’ve been to. I give it a 3 rating. Overall the food was very tasty 4.5 rating but portions were not enough. I don’t think the prefix is the enough food even though the wait staff sell you on that it’s a larger portion . It would have been better to order 4-5 apps individually and then 4-5 main courses. A 3 rating for value on food and portion size .

Great food and service Manager Angie took care of us. Food was on point drinks also . I would recommend this to any relative or friends

Loved it! We couldn’t order the Peking Duck as there’s only two of us, but the Gamblers Crispy Duck that they recommended was also great. We ended up with the Mr Chow prix-fixe for two and every dish was great. Yes - on the expensive side but worth every penny for special occasion dinner! We will be back. We feel lucky to have this in our neighborhood.
