Opened in 1974 by world famous restaurateur Michael Chow. MR CHOW started in London in 1968 and continues to enjoy generations of devoted clients from art, fashion, music, and entertainment. The American Academy of Hospitality Sciences recently awarded MR CHOW the 5 Star Diamond Award for excellence, service, and cuisine. Non credo che il cibo sia così buono come si dice, i gamberi sapevano di ammoniaca.

We arrived at 7:10 pm for our 7:15 reservation but had to stand and wait for 30 minutes before we were finally seated at 7:45 pm with not so much as a “thank you for your patience”, etc. We then waited another 15 minutes until someone finally came to our table. We asked for menus and then waited another 10 minutes before they were brought over. In sum, everyone in our party felt like we were treated as an after thought—which we were. To pay $600 for such an experience is simply not right.

Outstanding service by the experienced staff. Very nice staff. Efficient, friendly, food comes fast. Excellent quality food. Chefs accommodated food allergy and were very thoughtful towards us. Best seat in the house and everything we heard about the restaurant exceeded expectations. Thank you, Anita Marshall (Bell)
